The 2019 Acura NSX is rumored to come with advanced engine under the hood. Rumor has it that the new ride will get improvements here and there. It is expected that the redesigns and improvements for this 2019 model year will make the new ride even more appealing than its previous models.
2019 Acura NSX Redesign and Changes
The front end of the new NSX is nearly identical with the previous model. It has the same Acura beak as well as massive grille occupying most of the nose. However, if we get a closer look, there will be modifications here and there.
The new model comes with a larger splitter sticks out underneath the grille. Then, the silver ornament of the Acura beak is subtly different as well. The headlamps also boast new graphics with six LEDs. In addition to it, the front hood is different with two large vents right above the wheel arches.
As for the interior, the new Acura NSX comes with a wide range of aluminum inserts replacing most of the carbon-fiber bits. The Alacantara is only available on the mid part of the seats. Even so, the interior now is featured with a more production-friendly rakish center console.
The steering wheel on the new model also has more of a racing vibe. The cabin is also providing adequate space so that passengers can sit comfortable with enough head and leg rooms.
2019 Acura NSX Features and Engine Specs
The new Acura NSX will be equipped with several passive and active safety features. The new ride will get single-stage driver and dual-stage passenger multiple-threshold airbags. Besides that, the front seats also are features with three-point belts with automatic tensioning system.
As for the active safety features, it includes Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Electronic Brake Distribution, and Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Dynamic Guidelines. Further, the new ride also packs Anti-Lock Braking System, Brake Assist, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
For the 2019 model year, the automaker has developed an all-new, twin-turbocharged, 75-degree V-6 engine. This powerplant merges direct injection and port injection well. For precision combustion control throughout the entire rpm band, it also features Variable Timing Control to deliver optimal camshaft phasing.
The 2019 Acura NSX also features the latest version of Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive system. The system is capable of distributing more torque than any other system. Furthermore, this new system also improves acceleration, braking, as well as cornering.
